Enabling emergency mode
Has your heating or DHW heating stopped working?
With heat pump emergency mode, you have the option to use your booster/backup heater until your fault can be fixed. If your heat pump has an immersion heater, you will find instructions here on enabling emergency mode.
Important information:
Please note that emergency mode only provides electrical heating and should not be used permanently as it will be more costly to run than your heat pump. In such circumstances, a service engineer must be called out. Emergency mode is only intended as a bridging measure. Please call your installer or our technical helpline as soon as possible.
Key steps:
- Enable emergency mode according to the instructions
- Contact your installer or our technical helpline
- Schedule a date for a service engineer to visit
IMPORTANT:
A service engineer should always rectify the existing fault.
Enabling emergency mode increases electricity costs.
