Course content

This course is suitable for gas heating engineers ready to transition to heat pump installation, 

It is recommended to take our heat pump pass online course before attending (see link to sign up below) but you can do this after booking your in person place. 

Training modules:

* difference between a gas boiler and a heat pump system closely following hydraulic and electrical diagrams,

*installation methods and correctly sizing a heat pump for the property and why this is important. 

*our hands on segment allows you to build your confidence when servicing and repairing heat pumps including how to commission the heat pump (in person courses only - webinar will feature some demonstrations)

*overview on the difference between air source and ground source heat pumps and why pre-plumbed cylinders are not only important but decrease  installation time.

What is covered

The course is free to prospective and existing instaler partners.

Attendees will arrange their own travel and accommodation where necessary. Lunch and refreshments will be provided on the days of training.
